AI-Bio can generate two types of events:

• “Bio” type event, which contains for each framed face the relative characteristics in terms of gender, age, ethnicity and emotion; this event is sent as soon as the person’s face is no longer visible by the system.
• Digital Signage” event, which contains the same information generated by the “Bio” event. The main difference is that this event is used for Digital Signage applications, and is therefore sent as soon as the person’s face is visible, in order to allow customisation of advertising content while the person is still in front of the monitor.

Events can be sent to external servers using over 20 different protocols, including third-party VMS, standard protocols (such as HTTP, FTP, MODBUS and MQTT) and A.I. In addition, AI-Crowd Deep can be configured to send an alarm in the following situations:

• Presence of gatherings: in the scene there are groups of two or more people at close distance. The distance and the minimum number of people can be configured by the user.
• Social distance violation: two or more people are standing at a distance that is less than a configurable threshold.
• Overcrowding: the estimated number of people detected exceeds a threshold value chosen by the user.

• Crossing: one or more people cross a virtual counting sensor. In this case the notification contains the number of people who have crossed the sensor.
• Threshold exceeded: the number of people counted by the application exceeds a configurable threshold. It is suggested to use this only in the Server and Edge versions as it is possible to configure AI-People to automatically reset the count value.

AI-APPLIANCE-DS can be used in commercial activities, museums, stations, airports or, in general, in all those situations where there are monitors showing advertising contents. From a practical point of view, it can be installed anywhere, both in indoor and outdoor environments, thanks to its compact size and extremely low power consumption.

AI-APPLIANCE-DS is an integrated hardware and software solution.

For example, it can be used to know the most visited aisles or shelves in a supermarket, the most crowded shops in a shopping centre, the paintings near which people stop for the longest time or in general of greatest interest to visitors in a museum.

AI-HEAT, combined with a dashboard for data management and visualisation (e.g. AI-DASH-PRO), then allows the heatmap to be visualised in the form of an image: the ‘background’ of the camera scene (i.e. the scene without any moving objects) will be overlaid by coloured regions. Typically, the warmest colours (red, orange, yellow) represent the ‘hot zones’, i.e. those areas most frequented (and therefore of greatest interest to visitors). Vice versa, as the colours become progressively cooler (green, light blue, blue) the areas within the picture represent regions of the facility that are of decreasing interest, leading to the so-called ‘dead areas’.
